Google+ and chrome extension

Google+ is a social networking service operated by Google Inc. The service launched on June 28, 2011, in an invite-only testing phase.Google+ will be built as a layer that not only integrates different Google social services, such as Google Profiles and Google Buzz, but also introduces many new features including Circles, Hangouts, Sparks and Huddles. Google+ will also be available as a desktop application and as an application on Android and iOS operating systems.

While Google works on adding more features, some available Chrome extensions can fill the functionality gap. You want to get better notifications, enjoy improved sharing options, or scroll through your stream more quickly, there’s an extension available — for free — to help.

G+ Count in Title ( Notification Count to Your Google+ Tab ):
This extension adds a counter to your Google+ page tab so you can see at a glance how many new posts you have to view. Places the Google+ notification count in parenthesis in the document title located in the page tab. While you are viewing pages in other tabs, you can see how many notifications you have in Google+. The count is placed at the beginning of the title so that it can still be seen when the title is long, such as when you are viewing a profile. If you pin the tab or, depending on the size of your window, have a lot of tabs open then this extension is useless.

G+ Extended ( Add Shortcuts )

This extension adds more shortcuts, as well as offering one-press "+1" options, when a post is highlighted you can press "e" to expand all the comments or "s" for quick sharing options.

This extension adds some much needed shortcuts for users of Google+. 

 The new shortcuts are: 

 * Press "+" for +1'ing a post.
* Press "-" for removing your +1 on a post.
* Press "p" to toggle your +1 on a post.
* Press "s" to share a post.
* Press "e" to expand older comments on a post.

Helper For Google+ ( Get Desktop Notifications )

This extension has tweaked search and also lets you share to Twitter. Helper gives you desktop notifications for new Google+ posts with a little pop-up window or an audio alert option. There's also a "translate" button, which some may find useful.

+Comment Toggle (  Hide Comments )

If your stream is busy, then this extension will save you some precious scrolling time. It automatically hides all comments on a post, reducing the on-screen info to a simple comment tally (which you can choose to expand if you wish.)

+Comment Toggle hides any comments to posts within your Stream and makes them available if and when you actually want to see them. Since Google+ page structure is quite complicated and heavily powered by JavaScript there may be some errors or unfixed bugs. If you find one, please drop me a note.

About the required permissions:

The extensions needs access to the pages on plus.google.com to integrate the JavaScript necessary to hide your comments. The extension operates entirely within the bounds of your browser and does not collect any information. All it does is modifying the page's source code to hide any comments.

Extended Share For Google+ ( Share Plus Posts to Other Networks )

This handy extension expands your sharing options. It adds a "Share on..." button that gives you the ability to quickly and easily share a Plus post to Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn.
Google+ does not have a quick way sharing your posts to Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook, this extension will add a link "Share on ..." to each post. Once clicked, it will bring up an internal bubble asking you where to share your post.Future additions to this project will allow you to auto share with a single click instead of going through the hassle of clicking multiple times, for a better overall experience.
